Brush up on history at the National Museum. A palatial structure adopting the style of old Malay architecture, the museum's dramatic entrance is flanked by murals depicting aspects of Malaysian culture and history. Inside there are exhibits on local history, culture and traditions, arts and crafts, economic activities, currency, weapons and local flora and fauna. Outside, old locomotives, vintage cars and other relics of transport from days gone by can be found. Reconstructed Malay palaces from other parts of the country also grace the expansive grounds.

The National Zoo and Aquarium was once set in virgin jungle, but now stands like an oasis amidst a concrete jungle. The zoo features about 400 species of Malaysian and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds. There are numerous paths meandering between wooded groves and tree-lined enclaves where the animal enclosures are located. Among the more exotic exhibits are the Sumatran tiger, orang-utans and gibbons. The aquarium has 80 species of marine and fresh-water life. Petronas Twin Towers is KL's most famous landmark and the tallest building in the world at 452 meters. Go early and get free admission to the Skybridge observation deck at 170 meters above the city. If you miss the tour there is a museum and massive shopping mall within the buildings and a nice big park in the back with a public pool and playground.

The Batu Caves........
The Batu Caves are situated thirteen kilometers (seven miles) north of the capital city Kuala Lumpur. They are the sacred place for the Hindu's in Malaysia. They consist of three main caves and a number of smaller ones. The caves are made of limestone and 400 meters long and 100 meter high. They were discovered in 1892. From your hotel in the Golden Triangle you can reach the Batu Caves easily by taxi or public bus (11 and 11d). The public busses can be boarded at the Pudu Raya Bus Terminal in Kuala Lumpur.
At your arrival you will be greeted by lots of monkeys. They are going for your peanuts and banana's, which you can buy in several shop, before you climb up to the caves. You have to climb 272 steps, which will lead you to the religious and magnificent Batu Caves.

Elephant century is one of the most tourist attraction in Pahang. It is located at Bentong Pahang about 1 hour 30 mins drive from Kuala Lumpur. They have at least 25 numbers of elephant. It has lots of activities such as feedings elephant, bathing with an elephant, elephant show and feeding with an elephant. At this Elephant Century they will show a film about this animals where they found most of it and etc.....No entrance fee charge only for tourist they will have to donate in what ever amount for the elephant.
The elders elephant they have here is 75 years old.....
It's very interesting place to visit for children as they will learn how to love animals.....especially elephant
If you wish to bath with this animals don't forget to bring your swimming costume along.....
